My approach to outreach makes use of the Auburn University Museum of Natural History's live collection to teach local kids about reptile diversity, life history, and adaptation. Through connections at our public library and local schools, I have been able to bring animals to educational events and into classrooms to give kids hands-on lessons that are fun for them and edifying for everyone involved.
